At the heart of the Defender sits Jaguar Land Rover’s naturally aspirated 5.0-litre AJ V8 petrol engine. The powerful unit produces 405 bhp and 380 lb-ft of torque, delivering performance levels far beyond those of the original Defender models.
Power is sent to all four wheels through an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission, offering smoother gear shifts and improved drivability. The larger five-seat Defender 110 starts at £199,000, while the seven-seat version is priced from £204,000 (excluding VAT).
