To me, this looks more like how they would update or make an electric version of the Carens rather than an SUV.

Indeed, cars priced under ₹5 lakh are in a critical state, and it’s just a matter of time before they’re phased out. Currently, only three cars—Alto, S-presso, and Kwid—fit this category. With the arrival of the next generation, it’s highly likely that all three will be discontinued. Furthermore, as the era of electric vehicles (EVs) approaches, it’s becoming increasingly improbable to have a car priced under ₹5 lakh in the future.

Volvo is making a gradual yet consistent ascent on the charts. Their strategy is to shift aggressively toward electric vehicles (EVs) and transform into an all-EV brand by 2025. With reduced taxes, they aim to competitively price their cars. It will be intriguing to see if they can become the Tesla of India.
