This motorcycle marks a significant milestone as it’s the first product of the Hero-Harley partnership and stands as one of the most affordable Harley-Davidson motorcycles available in India.
Under the hood, the X440 packs a punch with its 440cc single-cylinder engine, delivering 27.37 bhp and 38 Nm of torque. This powerplant is paired with a six-speed gearbox and features a fuel-injection system. Notably, the X440 doesn’t skimp on modern conveniences, boasting a digital instrument cluster, LED headlights, and ABS.
The X440 lineup caters to diverse tastes, offering three variants: Denim, Vivid, and S. The Denim variant, the entry point, provides the essentials, while the Vivid and S variants enhance the experience with extras like a split seat, a backrest, and a luggage rack.
In terms of pricing, the X440 presents an attractive proposition, starting at INR 2.39 lakh (ex-showroom) for the Denim variant, INR 2.59 lakh for the Vivid variant, and INR 2.79 lakh for the S variant.
Hero MotoCorp has already notched up over 25,000 bookings for the X440, indicating strong demand in the pipeline.
