Hero MotoCorp, the global two-wheeler giant, clocked impressive figures in September 2023, selling a total of 5.36 lakh units. This marked a 10% surge compared to the same month in the previous year.

The domestic market witnessed robust sales, with 5.15 lakh units sold, reflecting an 11% growth from September 2022. Additionally, the company exported 21,000 units, showcasing a commendable 7% year-on-year increase.

Hero MotoCorp’s success can be largely attributed to the strong demand for its commuter and premium motorcycles. Among the top-selling models in September were the Splendor, HF Deluxe, and Passion Pro.

Anticipating further sales growth in the upcoming months, Hero MotoCorp is gearing up for the festive season with an array of new products and enticing schemes.

Hero MotoCorp aims to sell over 10 lakh units, a period traditionally known for its heightened two-wheeler sales in India.

As part of its festive season preparations, the company has introduced several new products and schemes, including:

– New Hero Xoom 160 scooter: Positioned as a premium scooter, the Xoom 160 competes with rivals like the Honda Dio and TVS Ntorq 125. It packs a punch with a 160cc engine producing 12.6 horsepower and 12.8 Newton-meters of torque.

– New Hero Glamour Xtec motorcycle: This 125cc motorcycle boasts modern features, including a Bluetooth-enabled instrument cluster, LED headlights, and turn-by-turn navigation.

– New Hero Splendor Plus Xtec motorcycle: A 100cc motorcycle equipped with features like a digital instrument cluster and LED headlights.

To sweeten the deal further, Hero MotoCorp has rolled out festive season schemes, offering cash discounts, exchange bonuses, and low-down payment finance options.

Hero MotoCorp is well-prepared to leverage the festive season demand surge. Yet, it remains to be seen whether the company can meet its ambitious sales target of over 10 lakh units. 

Nevertheless, Hero MotoCorp’s proactive measures, such as new product launches and festive season schemes, demonstrate their commitment to rev up sales in this challenging market conditions.
