The Carrera T weighs 1,478 kg, but Porsche has trimmed roughly 40 kg by utilizing lighter windows and less sound insulation. The T is powered by the Carrera’s 3.0-litre flat-six twin-turbo engine, which produces 394 horsepower and 450 Nm of maximum torque. The previous 911 Carrera T’s 7-speed manual and dual-clutch auto option have been replaced by a 6-speed manual gearbox that transfers power to the back wheels. Porsche claims a peak speed of 295 kph and 293 kph, respectively, and a 0-100 kph time of 4.5 seconds for the coupe and 4.7 seconds for the convertible.

The T’s interior has a heated GT sports steering wheel and a short-throw gear lever with a walnut finish. As an optional extra, it can be equipped with lightweight bucket seats or 18-way adjustable seats in addition to the normal four-way leatherette seats.
