Tata Motors has launched the all-new Dark Edition of the Curvv, with prices starting from ₹ 16.49 lakh and going up to ₹19.52 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai). The new addition has added yet another name to Tata’s long list of Dark Edition models, including the Nexon, Harrier, and Safari. This follows the launch of the Citroen Basalt Dark, which is said to be an almost direct competitor in the fast-growing coupe SUV segment.

The Curvv Dark Edition is now fully bold and sporty. It is draped from tip to toe in the new Carbon Black paint scheme, which darkens all parts of the front and rear bumpers, grille, and 18-inch alloy wheels, further asserting the SUV’s aggressiveness. With full-width LED light bars at the vehicle’s front and rear, the vehicle’s profile continues with fine glossy black cladding on the wheel arches to further promote the overall profile.

There is also an all-black interior. Leatherette upholstery, roof liner, and center console are all matched in black to complete the cabin decor. The arrangement of the interiors is designed to give an air of premium feel and uniformity, thus creating an easy and stylish atmosphere for both the driver and passengers.

Curvv Dark Edition combines ease and luxury. It has a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Amazon Alexa technology and a gesture-controlled tailgate. Onboard, you will find a nine-speaker JBL sound system, panoramic sunroof, vented front seats, and reclining rear seats. The package includes a wireless charger. It also has an air purifier, disc brakes on all four wheels, six airbags, and an advanced driver assistance system (ADAS), ensuring safety and comfort everywhere.
Tata Curvv Dark Edition: Powertrain Options
The Tata Curvv Dark Edition is otherwise exclusive to the upper-spec Accomplished trim can also be offered in two propulsion options: a 1.2-liter turbocharged petrol engine producing 125 hp and 225 Nm of torque or a 1.5-liter diesel engine that delivers 118 hp and 260 Nm of torque. Both engines are available with a six-speed manual transmission or a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic, enabling high or low-speed driving.
