Toyota has officially unveiled the all-electric C-HR+ SUV, which was initially introduced as a concept in 2022. It will launch in select European markets later this year and join the bZ4X and Urban Cruiser EV in Toyota’s expanding electric vehicle lineup. The company aims to have at least six EVs available in international markets by 2026.
Toyota C-HR+ EV: Exterior and Dimensions
The production version retains much of the styling of the 2022 concept, including Toyota’s characteristic ‘hammerhead’ front end, raked roofline, and large LED tail lamps, although the connected light bar is not carried over. The C-HR+ is longer at 4,520mm and wider with a 2,750mm wheelbase and more spacious inside than its competitors.

Safety is paramount, and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) are standard, with features like blind-spot monitoring and adaptive high-beam headlights. Park assist and panoramic view monitoring are available only on the higher trims.
Powertrain and Charging
The Toyota C-HR+ EV is constructed on the e-TNGA platform, sharing its foundation with the bZ4X. Customers can choose between two battery sizes: 57.7kWh and 77kWh. The smaller battery powers a 167hp front-wheel-drive version, while the larger battery offers options for 224hp FWD and 343hp AWD models. The SUV has a range of up to 600km (WLTP). It supports fast charging at 150kW, and comes with an 11kW charger as standard, with a 22kW option available for higher trims.
