The Jawa 42 has been updated for 2024, with pricing ranging from Rs 1.73 lakh to Rs 1.98 lakh (ex-showroom). It gets engine modifications, minor stylistic updates, and a new seat. The beginning price is Rs 16,000 cheaper than before.
Jawa 42 Details
Classic Legends used what it learned from the Jawa 350 and Yezdi Adventure to modify the Jawa 42 engine. The final product is a 294cc liquid-cooled motor that now produces 27.32hp and 26.84Nm. Jawa has also equipped the 42 with a slip and assist clutch and a gear-based throttle controlling for better gear shifts. The company has installed a new hub-type balancer gear and a modified balancer weight to lessen vibrations. Jawa has also altered the mounting point for the rear shocks and installed a new seat for increased comfort.

The base variant receives single-channel ABS, spoked wheels, and an analog LCD setup, while the top variant gets an entirely digital LCD device. Currently, the Jawa 42 has spoked wheels with single-channel ABS, spoked wheels with dual-channel ABS, and alloy wheels with dual-channel ABS, depending on the version.
