Maruti Suzuki Swift

Reservations for the upcoming fourth-generation Maruti Swift have already opened. The fact that the new Swift is beginning to arrive in Maruti’s Arena dealerships across the nation is another clue that the launch is almost here. Here’s where we got a good look at the India-specific Swift, which has certain design tweaks compared to the vehicle sold overseas.

The pictures show that the Swift that is being sold overseas and the one that will go on sale in India the following week resemble one other rather closely. New alloy wheels and fog lamps in the front bumper are features of the India-spec Swift. Dual-tone color possibilities are all but guaranteed, even if the model seen here has a monotonous white finish.

Interior details of the New Maruti Swift India

Once more, it appears that almost every interior feature of the Swift for India and the hatchback overseas are similar, including the asymmetrical analog dials, the 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, the digital AC panel for the climate control system, and the flat-bottom steering with numerous control switches. Naturally, the India-spec Swift won’t come with ADAS technology. Oh! Also read our news article on Launched at Rs 7.49 lakh, the Mahindra XUV 3XO

This is perhaps a better specification variant of the Swift ZXI. The hatchback will probably be offered in three trim levels: entry-level LXI, mid-spec VXI, and top-spec ZXI, as is customary. All versions will come equipped with six airbags, seat belts, and reminders to buckle up for all five passengers, as we had previously reported. Additionally, the pictures indicate that, at least on higher-spec versions, it will have a back camera, a rear defogger, and wash/wipe capability.

Details on the new Maruti Swift India engine

The Swift for India would be more economical than the outgoing model, according to our earlier report. Although it has less power (8 horsepower and 1 Nm) than the K12 engine that is being replaced, the new 1.2-liter, three-cylinder Z12E engine can go more than 3 km on a single gallon of fuel and has an ARAI-rated efficiency of 25.72 kpl. Most likely, there will be a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT available. It is anticipated that the Swift CNG will be included later.
