The Skoda Octavia vRS, celebrated for its athletic styling, outstanding performance, and robust engine, has been launched in India in a completely new form at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. In line with Skoda’s distinctive design philosophy, the Octavia vRS showcases personality through its striking black accents, assertive lowered profile, and, most excitingly, a powerful 265 PS engine beneath the hood. Octavia vRS: Design
At the front, the new Skoda Octavia vRS may be recognizably a Skoda by the butterfly grill. However, the headlights and the bumper have been updated and differ from the fourth-generation facelifted model. The 2025 Octavia vRS also has LED matrix beam headlights and tail lights, including welcome and goodbye functions.
Since this is an RS version, which, in simple terms, means a more sporty version of the sedan, this Octavia does get a blacked-out grill and ORVMs. It has a lower ground clearance and sports-tuned aerodynamically designed 18-inch alloy rims. The rear bumper has also been adjusted, and all these changes are adopted to equip the sedan with the needed sporty look.
Skoda Octavia vRS: Interior
The fourth-generation Octavia facelift might not look very different on the outside, but it does get a new interior concept. As with any vehicle branded as an RS, it is equipped with an all-black interior, which includes the instrument cluster, although the center console has been finished in an attractive red.

The changes include a digital driver’s 10-inch display joined with ambient lightning, a new 13-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a premium sound system, modified Octavia’s dual-zone climate control, new electrically adjustable front seats with heating and ventilation, a 13-inch OEM Discover touchscreen navigation Pro, and a panoramic sunroof for the 2025 Octavia.
Skoda Octavia vRS: Engine & Performance
The new 2025 Octavia vRS also emploeys a 2-liter turbo-petrol engine with impressive power delivery, intensifying 265 PS and torque to 370 Nm to ensure it can accelerate to 100 mph in merely 6.4 seconds. The power is conveyed through a 7- 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, commonly known as DCT. However, what is worth attention is that the current top speed of the Octavia vRS is electronically restricted to 250 mph. The brake hardware has been overhauled above the standard Octavia to give you braking power.
Expected Market Launch, Price, And Rivals
The third generation of the 2025 Skoda Octavia vRS is expected to arrive in the Indian market later this year. It will be priced between ₹40 lakh and ₹45 lakh (approximately $48,000 to $54,000), ex-showroom. At this price point, there will be no direct competitors to the Octavia vRS.
