The 2025 Volvo XC90 facelift has been released in India with an ex-showroom price of Rs 1.03 crore. The redesigned XC90 SUV is significantly more expensive and includes several design and technology changes over the previous model.
2025 Volvo XC90: Exterior Design
The overall shape of the Volvo XC90 SUV is comparable to the previous model. Many revamped exterior stylistic components are inspired by the all-electric Volvo EX90, such as a revised grille with diagonal slats, thinner ‘Thor’ hammer headlights, renewed bumpers, darker tail lights, and new alloy wheels. The ground clearance increases from 238mm to 267mm when air suspension is used.
2025 Volvo XC90: Interior and Features
The new XC90’s interior appears mainly familiar, with black leather upholstery. Volvo also includes a larger 11.2-inch touchscreen in its flagship XC90 model, which runs Google-based software and supports over-the-air (OTA) upgrades. The Swedish automaker also says that the resolution of the portrait-style touchscreen has been increased.

The revised model continues to have features, including a panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charging, a 360-degree camera system, a head-up display, memory seats, and an air purifier.
2025 Volvo XC90: Engine and Performance
The redesigned XC90 features the same 2.0-liter mild-hybrid turbo-petrol engine, which produces 250hp and 360Nm of maximum torque. Because the Volvo XC90 is AWD, the automatic transmission transmits power to all four wheels, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in 7.7 seconds.
