Safety and Build
The previous Altroz received a 5-star rating in Global NCAP crash tests, and Tata continues its strong focus on safety with this update. The Altroz facelift maintains its image as a safe and well-built premium hatchback. All variants now come equipped with six airbags and electronic stability control as standard.
Tata Altroz Facelift: Engine Options and Performance
The current engine lineup is retained in the updated Altroz. It includes a 1.2-liter petrol engine producing 88hp, available with a 5-speed manual, a 6-speed DCT, or a 5-speed AMT gearbox. The 1.5-liter diesel engine makes 90hp and comes with a manual transmission, taking 12.8 seconds to go from 0–100 km/h. The 1.2-liter CNG engine produces 74hp and is offered only with a manual gearbox. However, the facelift does not offer the more powerful 120hp 1.2-liter turbo-petrol engine from the Altroz Racer.
