Ducati has revealed the Panigale V4 Tricolore Italia, an ultra-exclusive motorcycle created to celebrate the brand’s memorable success at the Mugello Grand Prix. Inspired by Ducati’s dominant one-two finish at its home race in Italy, the special-edition superbike combines race-inspired styling, premium materials, and collectible elements that make it one of the most exclusive Panigale models ever produced.

Production of the Panigale V4 Tricolore Italia is strictly limited to just 163 units worldwide, making it a highly desirable machine for collectors and Ducati enthusiasts. The motorcycle pays tribute not only to Ducati’s racing heritage but also to the achievements of MotoGP world champion Francesco Bagnaia, whose signature appears on the bike as part of its unique identity.

The Ducati Panigale V4 Tricolore Italia features a striking livery inspired by the Desmosedici GP24 race bike that secured Ducati’s celebrated victory at the Mugello Grand Prix. The design incorporates the colors of the Italian flag, emphasizing the motorcycle’s connection to Ducati’s racing success and national pride.

Several exclusive details set the Tricolore Italia apart from the standard Panigale V4. The fuel tank cover carries the signature of Francesco Bagnaia, adding significant collectible value for MotoGP fans. Ducati has also fitted a billet aluminium steering head engraved with the layout of the Mugello Circuit, along with Bagnaia’s record-setting lap time of 1:45.770.

Adding to its exclusivity, each motorcycle receives an individual identification number displayed on the TFT instrument panel during startup. This unique feature reminds owners that they are riding one of only 163 examples produced globally.

The motorcycle also benefits from the extensive use of carbon-fibre components, helping reduce weight while enhancing its premium appearance. These lightweight parts further reinforce the bike’s close relationship with Ducati’s racing machines.

Ducati Panigale V4 Tricolore Italia: Powertrain

Powering the Panigale V4 Tricolore Italia is Ducati’s renowned 1,103cc Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine. The Euro 5+ compliant powerplant remains one of the most advanced engines in the superbike segment and continues to deliver exceptional performance.

The engine produces an impressive 216 horsepower at 13,500 rpm and generates 120.9 Nm of peak torque at 11,250 rpm. This output ensures breathtaking acceleration and track-ready performance while maintaining the smooth power delivery expected from a modern Ducati superbike.

Power is sent to the rear wheel through a six-speed gearbox designed to provide precise shifts and maximum performance under demanding riding conditions. Combined with Ducati’s sophisticated electronics package, the V4 engine delivers a riding experience that closely mirrors the company’s MotoGP technology.

The combination of high-revving performance, advanced engineering, and lightweight construction makes the Tricolore Italia one of the most capable motorcycles in Ducati’s lineup.

Launch and Pricing in India

While the Panigale V4 Tricolore Italia has been introduced as a highly limited global model, Ducati recently launched the 2025 Panigale V4 and Panigale V4 S in India.
