Hyundai India has announced the Creta Electric, which will likely be unveiled at the soon-to-be-commenced Bharat Mobility Expo shortly. Along with revealing the design specs of the model, the automaker has shared photos of the interior of the electric SUV before releasing the official pricing.

The new Creta Electric features dual-zone climate control, a redesigned three-spoke steering wheel, two 10.25-inch screens, a digital key, V2L technology, shift-by-wire technology, a single-pedal driving function (i-pedal), and a dual-tone black-and-white interior theme. The updated centre console will include two cup holders, a rotary dial for the drive modes, and an electric parking brake with an auto-hold feature.

Hyundai Creta Electric: Safety Features

On the safety front, the 2025 Creta EV would have rain-sensing wipers, a front parking sensor, a 360-degree camera, a tire-pressure monitoring system, Hill-start Assist Control, Hill Descent Control, Electronic Stability Control, six airbags. To ensure that the charging efficiency and range is the best during cold weather it will also include a battery heater.

Hyundai Creta Electric: Performance and Charging

The Hyundai Creta Electric will be driven by a single electric motor and battery packs of 51.4 and 42 kWh. These battery packs have corresponding ranges of 473km and 390km. The model can be charged from 10 per cent to 100 per cent in approximately four hours using an 11kW AC wall box charger. A 60kW DC rapid charger also increases the battery from 10-80 per cent in 58 minutes.
