Renault India has confirmed the launch of an all-new SUV in 2026, marking the return of the much-anticipated third-generation Renault Duster to the Indian market. Renowned for reshaping the compact SUV segment during its initial run from 2012 to 2022, the first-generation Duster garnered a loyal following for its design, practicality, and value for money. Despite its discontinuation and the absence of the second-generation model in India, the Duster’s legacy remains strong among SUV enthusiasts. After a four-year wait, Renault aims to revive the iconic SUV, with the third-generation Duster expected to deliver a modernized take on the brand’s highly regarded SUV.

Renault Duster: Expected Details
The SUV will come in four different versions, with the three-row Bigster joining the lineup a bit later. The regular Duster will debut on sale in 2026. Furthermore, Nissan variants with distinct identities will be available for the Duster and the Bigster. The Renault-Nissan plant in Chennai will produce all four SUVs, which will be marketed in India and exported to other countries.
The company will reveal the new Duster’s costs sometime in the early months of next year.
