Nissan Kicks

At the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, site of the 2024 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament, Nissan recently debuted the much awaited second-generation Nissan Kicks SUV. Comparing this most recent Kicks model to its predecessor, it is noticeably bigger on the outside and more roomy inside, with enough cargo space. At the 2024 New York Motor Show, this SUV is scheduled to make its debut.

Based on the Mitsubishi XForce SUV, which is presently offered in areas like Indonesia, is the new Nissan Kicks. In contrast to its predecessor, which was available on various platforms based on the market, the second-generation Kicks are now available on a single platform for all markets. Because of the platform consolidation, the SUV is marginally larger overall and provides a more roomy and adaptable driving environment.

The exterior design includes a tapering roofline akin to a coupe, hefty wheel arches with matte black body cladding, and sleek LED lighting elements on both the front and rear. Top models have eye-catching 19-inch alloy wheels and high-end design elements that improve the vehicle’s visual appeal.

Nissan has concentrated on increasing the premium experience inside the interior by using premium materials and cutting-edge features. The interior’s centerpiece is the 12.3-inch infotainment system, which is enhanced by touch-sensitive HVAC controls, wireless charging, several USB-C connections, wireless charging capabilities, a panoramic sunroof, and high-end BOSE speakers.

In terms of technology and safety, the new Kicks has an Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) suite that includes lane keep assist optional ProPILOT Assist and standard adaptive cruise control. This allows for a safe and secure driving experience.

Although the new Nissan Kicks is marketed as a worldwide SUV, it is unclear when it will debut in certain countries, like India. Nissan’s current priorities in India are other forthcoming vehicles, such as a Nissan-badged Renault Duster and an MPV based on the Renault Triber. It is therefore not anticipated that the new Kicks will be available in India right now.
