Ather 450 Apex

Ather Energy is set to unveil its latest flagship electric scooter, the 450 Apex, through a live event scheduled for January 6th. The electric two-wheeler brand is currently accepting bookings for the 450 Apex, and interested customers can secure their reservation with a token amount of ₹2,500 by visiting the manufacturer’s website.

The deliveries of the eagerly anticipated 450 Apex are slated to commence in March 2024, adding another electric mobility option to the market.

Ather Energy’s Chief Executive Officer and co-founder, Tarun Mehta, confirmed on X a while ago that a brand new scooter is under development for its debut this year.

In contrast to the performance-based 450 Apex, the family-oriented scooter is expected to feature a practical design, offering increased spaciousness with a generously sized floorboard.

The Ather 450X currently has a top speed of 90 kmph and can accelerate from zero to forty kmph in just 3.3 seconds. Its 6.4 kW electric motor can generate a maximum torque of 26 Nm.

It will be interesting to see what the 3.7 kWh battery pack-equipped Apex is capable of. It is touted to have a range of up to 150 kilometers on a single charge.

Four riding modes will be available: Eco, riding, Sport, and Warp+. Of all the modes for getting the most out of your e-scooter, Warp+ might be the most absurd.

At approved dealerships, bookings for the Apex 450, which bills itself as the brand’s fastest electrified model, are already being accepted. A streamlined side profile, a single-piece grab rail, a single-piece seat configuration, and other features—like the front apron—that were carried over from the current model were all featured in the previous teaser.

It will be positioned to rival vehicles like the TVS iQube, Ola S1X, and Bajaj Chetak. It will probably have a competitive pricing range and a respectable overall selection upon launch to appeal to a broad spectrum of customers.
