A facelifted version of the BYD Atto 3 has been officially announced. While the inside has not been seen, the all-electric BYD SUV receives noticeable outward upgrades and increased ADAS capability.
BYD Atto 3 Facelift: Exterior Design
The front end of the facelifted Atto 3 features an enormous trapezoidal air dam flanked by smaller and sportier air intakes. The headlights and the characteristic chrome-plated panel remain unchanged, but the 18-inch alloy wheels have been redesigned.
The D-pillars are now primarily blacked out, and it has a new roof spoiler with twin brake lights and a reworked rear bumper. The taillights also feature new interwoven LED signatures with dynamic turn signals.
BYD Atto 3 Facelift: ADAS Features
One of the standout features of the Atto 3 facelift is the “God’s Eye C” ADAS system, which includes a three-camera block located beneath the windshield, four surround-view cameras, five long-range cameras, five mm-wave radars, 12 ultrasonic radars, and 29 sensors throughout the SUV. BYD claims that the updated Atto 3 supports ten high-speed navigation scenarios and six intelligent parking modes.

BYD Atto 3 Facelift: Battery and Range
Mechanically, the Atto 3 makeover will most likely be unchanged. The 60.5kWh LFP battery powers the India-spec Atto 3, which generates 204hp and 310Nm of torque via a single front-mounted motor. A 49.9kWh variant of the Atto 3 produces the same amount of power but has a shorter 345km WLTP range than the 60.5kWh version’s 420km WLTP range.
