Hyundai has unveiled its brand-new flagship SUV, the Hyundai Palisade. The brand has revealed the first set of information and pictures of the SUV for the Korean market; however, the global unveiling is scheduled for early next year.
Hyundai Palisade: What Do We Know So Far?
The new second-generation Hyundai Palisade is boxy and upright, giving it a Range Rover-like appearance. In addition to having a larger wheelbase than the previous model, the new Palisade also has an extended rear overhang and a shorter front overhang. Flared wheel arches, a silver-finished D-pillar, vertically-stacked tail lights, a roof-integrated spoiler, a minimal tailgate design, a large grille on either side and a faux skid plate on the lower portion of the rear bumper are all examples of exterior design features.
The new Palisade’s interior has a redesigned dashboard and cabin. The upper dashboard’s wraparound design has a recess where the infotainment and instrument cluster screens are located. The physical controls and air conditioning vents are located in the lower portion of the dashboard. A wireless charger, a 100W USB charging outlet, and a storage cubby are all included in the center console, which is detachable from the dashboard to create more storage space underneath.

For the first time, Hyundai will offer the Palisade with nine seats, with the front center console serving as an extra seat. While the third row has a standard 60:40 split bench seat, the second row can have individual chairs or a bench seat.
If launched in India, the Hyundai Palisade will be a strong competitor to the Toyota Fortuner and MG Gloster.
