In advance of the new Kia Carnival MPV’s October 3 launch, Kia India has formally launched its teaser marketing. Despite the Korean brand’s intention to construct the MPV locally later, the new Carnival will be imported into India through the CBU method. Given its full-imported status, the latest Carnival is projected to cost more than Rs 50 lakh, ex-showroom.
A few specifics regarding the Carnival for India are confirmed in the first teaser released by Kia. In contrast to the previous model, the new one has an identically sized digital instrument cluster and a somewhat larger infotainment touchscreen—international models get a 12.3-inch unit. It also has two sunroofs: one over the second-row seats and one for the front passengers. Front and rear dash cams, a head-up display, a digital in-rearview mirror, and ambient lighting on the dashboard are among the other anticipated features.
Unofficial orders for the new Carnival are already being accepted at Kia dealerships all over India. The booking fee is Rs 1 lakh, which is purported to be entirely refundable. According to dealer sources, the new Carnival will be available in two or three exterior colors, including black and white, and there will only be one fully loaded variation at launch.

The quantity of seats that the new Carnival will have is one of the details that has yet to be established. The MPV is available in places around the world with 7, 9, and 11 seats. Furthermore, it has yet to be verified, but we anticipate that the 2.2-litre, four-cylinder diesel engine from the previous model will remain. The MPV has a 1.6-liter turbocharged petrol hybrid and a 3.5-liter V6 petrol powerplant worldwide.
As previously reported, pricing is anticipated to start above Rs 50 lakh at launch because the Carnival would be introduced as a CBU. Due to its placement, the MPV will not have any direct competitors.
