This eight-car showcase will feature the Nexon CNG, Nexon EV Dark, and Safari Red Dark models, which will be displayed for the first time to the general public. It will also include the concepts of the Curvv, Harrier EV, and Altroz Racer.
A variety of models will be on display at the next Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024, according to confirmation from Tata Motors. Nonetheless, a few models have captured our attention, like the new Nexon EV Dark, the Safari Red Dark, and the Nexon i-CNG concept.
Tata has been very optimistic about the CNG passenger vehicle market in recent months. As of early 2024, the automaker has four models available for purchase using CNG, up from none at the beginning of 2023. These models are the Altroz, Tiago, Tigor, and Punch.Â
When the Nexon i-CNG hits the market, it will be the first turbo-petrol vehicle with a factory-installed CNG kit and Tata’s fifth i-CNG model to go on sale. The Nexon CNG, which is slated to be unveiled as a concept for the first time, is mostly similar to the regular Nexon in terms of power and fuel. The most obvious outward modification, according to the Tata-shared photos, is that the CNG model does not have fog lamps. Similar to its other CNG models, the Nexon CNG also has a twin-tank setup in the boot, and pictures indicate that there will be plenty of room for luggage.
It is anticipated that the Nexon CNG will come standard with a manual transmission; however, Tata may choose to offer the more environmentally friendly Nexon with an AMT option.
Meanwhile, the Nexon EV Dark Edition offers a first peek at the special edition’s comeback to the popular EV following a makeover last year. Similar to the previously available Dark Edition, the most recent Nexon EV Dark will have an entirely blacked-out appearance, matching the black paint finish to all silver trim finishes. The only element that contrasts with the blacked-out alloy wheels’ appearance is the blue EV badging on the fenders.
Tata will be exhibiting a variety of ideas and production cars at the Expo in addition to the three well-known models, such as the Punch EV, Altroz Racer Concept, Harrier EV Concept, and Curvv Concept. A selection of the company’s alternative fuel-powered light, medium, and heavy commercial vehicles will also be on display.
