Porsche Taycan Turbo GT

The most recent Porsche Taycan model with the highest range has defeated the Tesla Model S Plaid at the Nurburgring, beating it by a whopping 17.681 seconds.

With a stunning time of seven minutes and seven seconds, the Taycan became one of the fastest Porsches on the legendary track.

This monster, expected to be called the Turbo GT, beats the Taycan Turbo S by a significant 26 seconds and comes with revised headlights, bumpers, a rear air inlet, and a large back wing.

The Turbo GT, which is scheduled to go on sale later this year, demonstrated its resolve to break the lap record for electric production cars at the Nรผrburgring. This rival to the Tesla Model S Plaid, driven by head tester Lars Kern, is preparing for combat. During the mid-life redesign of the Taycan, the Turbo GT is likely to lead the lineup with about 1,000 horsepower, matching the high-performance Model S Plaid.

Kevin Giek, head of the Taycan model line, emphasized the significance of the achievement, stating, “Twenty-six seconds is half an eternity in motorsport.”

The Taycan joins the ranks of electric hypercars thanks to Lars Kern’s astounding lap time of 7:07.55 minutes on the Nordschleife, which demonstrates the car’s reliability across several circuits.

The Porsche Taycan adds another feather to its extraordinary global trip as it wins the 5.125-kilometer Buddh International Circuit in India.

In 2 minutes and 10.313 seconds, the Taycan set a ground-breaking first-ever EV lap record at the circuit, lagging the 911 GT3 RS by a mere 10.459 seconds.

Stay tuned for additional information about the impending Turbo GT release and the exciting accomplishments of the Taycan.
