The 2025 BYD Seal is officially launched at Rs 41 lakh (ex showroom). A few updates were performed on its suspension last month, aside from adding a handful of new convenience features. This is aside from the fact that the BYD Atto 3 electrics also underwent a refreshing 2025 model year with some interior upholstery changes and improvements in convenience features. Still, in terms of pricing, the base price of the BYD Seal is unchanged, although Premium RWD and Performance AWD have raised their prices by Rs 15,000.
2025 BYD Seal: Design
The 2025 BYD Seal has been left unchanged in terms of overall styling, but thoughtful changes have been implemented to make it more comfortable to use. Previously, an aftermarket bolt on powered sunshade was standard to all variants; now, they come with the standard powered sunshade built into the vehicle window itself, this should help in reducing cabin heat while parked under the sun.

2025 BYD Seal: Interior and Features
All models now include wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto in the cabin. Air conditioning and air purification systems have been upgraded as well. What is new for the BYD Seal is the Lithium Iron Phosphate low voltage battery, promised by the manufacturer to last 15 years and weigh six times less than a traditional lead acid battery.
Powertrain and Suspension Enhancements
The mid spec Premium variant is now equipped with Frequency Selective Dampers, a feature that was exclusive to the Performance variant previously. The top end Performance variant is outfitted with the DiSus C system, which employs real time adjustments to the stiffness of the suspension according to the condition of the road, cornering, acceleration, and braking.
Updates for the 2025 BYD Atto 3
Speaking of updates for 2025, the BYD Atto 3 is also bestowed with significant upgrades. It now sports an all black interior theme with ventilated front seats which totally replaces the old three tone treatment. Similar to the Seal, Atto 3’s low voltage battery is also upgraded to the new Lithium Iron Phosphate unit.
New BYD Atto 3 Prices
The first 3000 units of the 2025 BYD Atto 3 are being offered at introductory prices. The Dynamic variant with a 49.92kWh battery starts at Rs 24.99 lakh, the Premium at Rs 29.85 lakh, and the Superior at Rs 33.99 lakh for their respective 60.48kWh batteries, ex showroom India.
