The Volvo XC60 has undergone a second facelift three years after the previous update and eight years after the launch of the current-generation model. The XC60 has a revised design, an expanded feature list, and the same set of powertrains.
Volvo XC60 Facelift: Exterior Design
The facelifted XC60 receives minor design changes to align it with the new XC90 that launched last year. A new grille with diagonal slats replaces the vertical ones, and the bumper’s air vents have been altered. The XC60 rides on new alloy wheels and has smoked-out tail lights.
The facelifted XC60 will be available in two new colours: Forest Lake and Aurora Silver. The Mulberry Red finish found on other Volvo models will also be available.
Volvo XC60 Facelift: Interior and Features
The interior of the facelifted XC60 receives only minor changes, including an updated speaker mesh grille, some new quality materials, and a new 11.2-inch freestanding infotainment screen. The touchscreen has a redesigned user interface and is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Cockpit Platform processor. This processor provides improved image quality and over-the-air updates and is said to be twice as quick as Volvo’s previous infotainment system.

Volvo XC60 Facelift: Powertrains
Volvo hasn’t specified any technical modifications to the facelifted XC60, so the SUV’s current engine options will likely remain unchanged. The first is a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine with mild hybrid technology that produces 250hp and 350Nm and is coupled to an 8-speed torque converter. While this is the only powertrain available in India, the XC60 also comes in a 455hp, 640Nm 2.0-litre twin-charged plug-in hybrid option.
