Hyundai has debuted the tough Ioniq 5 XRT, which features unique front and rear appearance, a separate set of alloy wheels, and a new tyre and suspension package. The vehicle has also been raised and tweaked for light off-road use.

The worldwide Ioniq 5 lineup currently includes three unique models: the XRT, the ‘N’ performance variant, and the regular Ioniq 5. The XRT features a modified suspension system that elevates the car by 23mm over the normal model, as well as new 18-inch alloy wheels with all-terrain tyres. Its front and rear bumpers include “digital camouflage” paneling in contrast dark tones.

With the Ioniq 5 XRT, you can choose between two distinct exterior paint tones. With the suspension lift and tune designed for tough tracks, Hyundai claims the Ioniq 5 XRT’s approach and departure angles are now 19.8 and 30 degrees, respectively, 2.3 and 4.6 degrees higher than the basic model. The XRT also has distinctive badging, black mirrors, somewhat different seat material, and a three-spoke steering wheel instead of the two-spoke device seen on the standard Ioniq 5.

The Ioniq 5 XRT is equipped with an 84kWh battery that powers a motor on each axle, providing it all-wheel drive. Power outputs have not been announced, however they should be approximately 320hp, similar to the conventional dual motor version.

The Ioniq 5 facelift has been revealed overseas and should make its way in India
