Tata Motors has officially unveiled the production-ready Curvv coupe SUV’s exterior. The Curvv was first shown in April 2022 as an electric concept and subsequently in January 2023 as an ICE version. The Curvv’s interior has not yet been made public, but a virtual reality display gave us a sneak view.
How does the production version of the Tata Curvv vary from the concept?
Few specifics have altered, as was to be expected. In the EV, for example, the split rear spoiler has been replaced with a single, smaller element, and the daytime running lamps have been replaced with standard outside rear-view mirrors instead of extending into the bonnet.

The Curvv and its base, the Nexon, share a striking similarity in appearance from the front. Between the ICE and EV variants, there are a few differences. Similar to the Tata Punch EV, the electric Curvv has a charging flap positioned in the nose, and its lower bumper features several vertical stylistic cues. The lower bumper and grille region of the ICE version includes narrower horizontal components. The headlamp recesses are trapezoidal on both variants. The DRL unit is spread out throughout the width of the vehicle.
However, the Curvv and Nexon appear very different from the side. It is obviously longer, with a steeply sloping coupe roofline. The wheel arches have a “squircle” or squarish form. The ICE variant has 5-spoke alloy wheels that resemble petals and a fuel filler flap on the left rear fender. For increased aero efficiency, the EV’s alloy rim is more closed off. Both automobiles have noticeable black cladding below, and flush door handles that pop out.
Both models have a rooftop-mounted spoiler on the back. Although it is a single piece, it dips in the middle to resemble the concept’s split spoiler. Above the Tata logo, the tail-light unit extends across the back. In the ICE variant, the exhaust is concealed beneath the lower bumper part, which is completed in silver trim.

Tata Motors has not yet revealed the Curvv’s interior, but at its UK design lab, it gave us a sneak peek at what the production model might look like through an interactive virtual reality headset. Almost everything is carried over from the Nexon, including the touch-panel controls, the floating touchscreen, and the two-spoke steering wheel with the illuminated logo. However, the business says that multiple color schemes will be available for the Curvv. The lower leather piece of the dashboard trim panel was treated in a rich maroon color, while the rest of the panel was finished in a lovely metallic silver carbon-fiber weave.
Tata Curvv’s expected price
Tata Motors plans to release the electric Curvv first, perhaps on August 7, and then the petrol and diesel models. Tata Motors claims that despite the Curvv’s unique body form, its competitive pricing, a wide range of powertrain options, and several versions will enable it to compete with all other midsize SUVs on the market. The business stated that, as it did with the Punch and Nexon, it hopes to make a significant impact in the market with the Curvv.
