A heavily camouflaged test mule of the Skoda Slavia has been spotted in Pune, hinting at upcoming updates for the mid-sized sedan. The familiar sedan-like proportions and notably high ride height remain, with visible features including LED tail lamp clusters and a shark fin antenna. The test vehicle is equipped with pull-type door handles and black alloy wheels.
The facelift is expected to bring minor cosmetic changes, particularly around the front fascia. Potential new features include a 360-degree camera and Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). OH! Also read our news on Force Gurkha 5-Door.
Under the hood, the Slavia facelift is likely to retain its current engines: a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol producing 114 BHP and 178 Nm, and a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol generating 148 BHP and 250 Nm. Transmission options includes a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed automatic, and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic.
As a mid-life refresh, these updates aim to keep the Skoda Slavia competitive in the market. Further details and official announcements are anticipated in the coming months.
