Porsche has launched the new Panamera GTS in India, with a starting price of Rs 2.34 crore. The GTS stands atop the basic Panamera, introduced in India last November for Rs 1.7 crore.
What’s new with the Porsche Panamera GTS?
While the standard Panamera has a V6, the Panamera GTS has a 4.0-litre, twin-turbo V8 that produces 500hp, 20hp more than the previous Panamera GTS. The vehicle can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 3.8 seconds before reaching a top speed of 302 kmph. The PASM (Porsche Active Suspension Management) has been tweaked to complement the GTS’ sporting goals. It has a 10mm lower ride height than the standard Panamera and stronger anti-roll bars for a lower basic spring rate, resulting in enhanced body stability.
Black GTS emblems on the sides and rear, a unique front section, dark-tinted HD matrix LED headlights and taillights, and red brake calipers distinguish the Panamera GTS from the standard model. The basic Sport package includes a satin matte-black finish on the side skirts, front insets, side window trim, and rear bumper. The tailpipes are painted a striking Dark Bronze color. The Panamera GTS comes with 21-inch Turbo S center-lock wheels in Anthracite Grey. OH! Also don’t forget to read our news on Porsche 911 Hybrid.
The inside has Porsche’s Race-Tex suede-like material for the roof lining, armrests, door panels, and seat center panels. Porsche also provides two GTS-exclusive interior packages, Carmine Red and Slate Grey Neo and a Carbon Matt interior package.
Porsche said Panamera GTS deliveries in its native nation will begin in a few months, with India deliveries scheduled to begin by the end of this year or maybe in 2025. The GTS will be the most potent Panamera model in the country because the Turbo vehicles, which are hybrids, will not be available here.
