The Ola S1 Z is the latest addition to Ola Electric’s S1 electric scooter lineup. The S1 Z and S1Z+ variants cost Rs 59,999 and Rs 64,999, respectively.
Ola S1 Z: What Do We Know So Far?
Two 1.5kWh battery packs power the Ola S1 Z, but Ola has taken a different approach by allowing it to function with just one battery pack. The S1 Z has a certified range of 75 km when using a single battery pack and 146 km when using two.

Its claimed top speed is 70 kmph, powered by a hub-mounted motor with a maximum output of 3kW. According to Ola, the S1 Z can sprint from 0 to 40 km/h in 4.7 seconds. Very few e-scooters have 14-inch wheels like the Ola S1 Z, and the River Indie is the only other Indian e-scooter with this feature.
The top Z+ model adds a few extras, including a pillion sidestep, a tiny visor, and a baggage rack at the front and back. The S1 Z sports a brand-new, very boxy design language. The S1 Z variants have an LCD that can be connected to your smartphone using Bluetooth.
The Ola S1 Z is among India’s most reasonably priced two-wheelers, whether petrol or electric. Pricing ranges from Rs 59,999 to Rs 64,999. According to Ola, S1 Z deliveries are expected to start in May 2025.
