Audi A4 Signature Edition

Audi has released a new Signature Edition of its A4 sedan. It costs ₹57.11 lakh (ex-showroom), which is about $68,400 when converted to US dollars at 83.5 rupees. Although this edition has some extra features that aren’t found on other versions, it costs the same as the regular A4’s top-of-the-line Technology trim.

The changes to the outside are small, but they make it stand out. There are Audi ring decals on the back doors of the Signature Edition, a new spoiler for the trunk lid, and new alloy wheels with dynamic wheel hub caps. There are five glossy paints that buyers can pick from: Manhattan Grey, Navarra Blue, Mythos Black, and Glacier White.

In order to make it feel more luxurious, the cabin gets a few changes. One of the best new features is a 360-degree camera that works with ‘Park Assist’ to make parking easy. Updates also include LED puddle lights for the Audi rings, stainless steel pedal covers, artistic inlays made of oak wood, a built-in fragrance dispenser, and key covers that can be changed to fit your needs.

This top-of-the-line A4 still has all of its features. On board are a Bang & Olufsen 3D sound system, an ambient lighting system with 30 color options, a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, three-zone climate control, and front seats that can be automatically adjusted and saved.

What’s Next for the A4?

This Signature Edition is one of the last A4s in India from this age. The all-new A5 sedan has already replaced the A4 for Audi around the world, and it’s likely to do the same here in the future. Audi India, on the other hand, has not yet announced an exact launch date.

Powertrain

The Signature Edition is still technically the same as the regular A4. It has a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that makes 204hp and 320Nm of torque. It is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. It only takes 7.1 seconds to go from 0 to 100 km/h, and its top speed is 241 km/h. To make things work better, a 12V mild-hybrid system is also set up.
