MG is bringing its electric sports car, the Cyberster, to India in January 2025! This sleek ride will also kick off MGโs new premium dealership line, MG Select, which will start with 12 fancy experience centres across the country and expand from there.
The Cyberster isnโt just any carโitโs MGโs first-ever electric sports car. It made its global debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in 2023, and you mightโve even caught a glimpse of it when MG showcased it in India earlier this year. The car has a sporty vibe, with sharp looks and dimensions measuring 4.5m in length, 1.9m in width, and 1.3m in height.

Globally, the Cyberster comes in two versions. The base has a 308 hp motor, a 64kWh battery, and a range of 520 km. The beefier version packs a punch with 544hp, a 77kWh battery, and a range of 580 km. MG hasnโt spilled the beans on which oneโs coming to India yet.
Since itโll be fully imported, the Cyberster is likely to cost between โน50-60 lakh (ex-showroom). As an electric sports car, it wonโt have any direct rivals, but itโll be rubbing shoulders with cars like the BYD Seal, Hyundai Ioniq 5, and Kia EV6 in that price range. After the Cyberster, MG also plans to roll out the Mifa electric MPV.
