Mercedes-Benz has introduced the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 Pro, the most recent addition to the AMG GT family. This new model is intended for sports vehicle enthusiasts looking for great driving performance. The Mercedes-AMG GT 63 Pro provides a more sporty driving experience thanks to improved power, aerodynamics, and cooling systems.
The Mercedes-AMG GT 63 Pro has a 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine producing 612 HP. The maximum torque has increased to 850 Nm, resulting in even faster acceleration. This car can go from 0 to 200 km/h in 10.9 seconds and has a top speed of 317 km/h. These results demonstrate its outstanding performance, particularly at greater speeds.
The car’s high- and low-temperature cooling circuits have been improved to prevent the drivetrain from overheating under greater load. This innovation improves cooling performance, which in turn improves racetrack performance. The redesigned front apron with visible carbon fiber air deflectors, the active aerodynamic profile in the underbody, the AIRPANEL active air control system in the front apron, and the aerodynamics package with a fixed rear wing all reduce lift on the front axle by more than 30 kilograms, resulting in more precise steering. For instance, the recently launched Mercedes EQA sets new standards in electric vehicle technology, complementing the high-performance dynamics of the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 Pro.
The Mercedes-AMG GT 63 Pro comes with the standard AMG Exterior Carbon Fibre Package, which includes a front splitter, side sill trim strips, a diffuser, and a rear wing made of high-quality carbon fiber. The brake calipers are black, and the lightweight AMG Performance 21-inch forged wheels with cross-spokes are painted only in gray Himalaya matt, giving the car a racing vibe. Additionally, Mercedes-Benz continues to innovate across its lineup.Â
The standard AMG ceramic high-performance composite braking system consists of 6-piston fixed calipers in the front and one-piston floating calipers in the rear, with 420-millimeter brake discs on the front axle. These are currently Mercedes-AMG’s largest conventional ceramic braking discs. The brake system makes use of lightweight, high-strength titanium, which saves weight and reduces non-suspended bulk. This provides increased longevity and resistance to brake fade during strong braking, resulting in faster lap times. The Mercedes-AMG GT 63 Pro, for a sports car in its class, provides ample space and excellent all-around visibility, satisfying the quest for increased everyday usage. The AMG Performance seats with lateral support and the AMG Performance steering wheel in Nappa leather/MICROCUT microfibre come as standard, offering a pleasant and outstanding ride.
