Kia EV3

The EV3, Kia’s entry-level all-electric SUV, has finally been revealed worldwide. The five-seater SUV will come in nine different exterior color combinations and two trim levels: Standard and GT-Line. The EV3 is expected to provide class-leading passenger room, features, and driving range. Its design is similar to that of the EV9.

The Kia EV3’s exterior features the distinctive Kia EV design, including a blanked-off grille, L-shaped LED DRLs that merge in perfectly with the fascia inspired by a tiger’s nose, cubical-shaped LED headlights, and broad air inlets in the lower bumper. Overall, the style is similar to the flagship EV9 SUV.

The EV3’s side features include blacked-out pillars, squared-off wheel arches, flush-fitting front door handles, and rear door handles located on the C-pillar. 

The Kia EV3 has a large black-clad bumper, a roof spoiler, a shark-fin antenna, a reverse parking camera with sensors, a panoramic sunroof, and L-shaped LED taillamps that extend to both ends. Notably, the SUV is available in nine color choices, including two exclusive colors: terracotta and aventurine green.

The EV3’s interior is crammed with amenities like an auto-dimming IRVM, ambient lighting, dual-zone climate control, ambient lighting, and a 360-degree surround camera. There are also twin 12.3-inch displays for the infotainment and instrument panel, a floating center console with storage, and an ADAS suite. Kia EV3: Performance

The Kia EV3 has dimensions of 4,300 mm in length, 1,850 mm in width, 1,560 mm in height, and 2,680 mm in wheelbase. The front-wheel drivetrain electric SUV is built on the company’s E-GMP design. It is available with two different battery pack options: an 81.4kWh unit with a maximum driving range of up to 600km (WLTP-cycle) and a 58.3kWh unit. In just 31 minutes, this battery pack can be charged from 10% to 80%. Regarding performance, the EV3 can accelerate from zero to one hundred kilometers per hour in just 7.5 seconds thanks to its peak torque of 283 Nm.
