In terms of design, the revamped SUV has a Creta facelift front, but the H-shaped DRLs are unique. The grille, flanked by two light units, and the front bumper are both new. The sides have 18-inch alloy wheels with a new style. Even the taillights have an H-shaped pattern, with an LED light bar connecting the units, and the bumper has been refinished in silver. The firm has also developed the Robust Emerald Matte finish for exterior paint, bringing the total number of color selections to nine.

Particularly, the Alcazar facelift gets the Creta’s new-look dashboard, which features a 10.25-inch completely digital instrument cluster and a 10.25-inch infotainment screen placed next to each other. The inside features a tan and dark blue color scheme.

The front and rear captain’s seats have revised contouring and are finished in the same two-tone style as the dashboard. The second-row individual seats feature significantly wider headrests with movable extensions, and the area is more roomy because Hyundai removed the fixed center console that was located between the captain’s chairs. This allows for more room between the seats because each now has individual armrests, and one can easily move across to the third row from the second.

Hyundai Alcazar: Powertrain

The Alcazar facelift retains the 160hp, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and the 115hp, 1.5-litre turbo-diesel engines. Customers can choose between a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT for the petrol engine, and a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic for the diesel. The SUV also has several traction control modes, including presets for snow, sand, and mud, exactly like the previous generation.

Hyundai will announce the pricing of the Alcazar makeover on September 9, but we expect it to be slightly higher than the existing model, which costs between Rs 16.78 lakh and Rs 20.64 lakh for petrol and Rs 17.78 lakh to Rs 21.28 lakh for diesel.
