
The Ducati Scrambler Icon Dark debuted in India at 9.97 lakh (approximately 12,000 US dollars) ex-showroom, thus becoming the most affordable Ducati option available in the country. Simply put, the Dark is a less-glossy, more monochrome version of the standard Scrambler Icon; mechanically, it is identical to the Icon, but aesthetically, it brings more subtlety into the equation.

The all-black stealth treatment enhances a rugged, minimalist personality, utterly different from its colorful counterparts while maintaining Ducati’s signature design essence. For that reason, the Icon Dark is also loaded with a good display of modern electronics, with a TFT display, ride-by-wire, cornering ABS, and traction control to achieve an innovative mix of retro styling and modern technology.

Engine and Performance
With an 803cc air-oil-cooled V-twin engine developing 73bhp with a torque of 65.2Nm, it pushes very close to being one of the lightest big-capacity motorcycles from that weight. Weighing 176 kilograms dry without fuel, it is one of the lightest big-capacity motorcycles. The seat height of 795 mm can be adjustable down to 780 mm or up to 810 mm using optional seats, which provides a wide range of adaptability for various riders.
