BSA Gold Star

BSA, a renowned heritage firm, has entered the Indian motorcycle market with the launch of the BSA Gold Star, priced at Rs 3 lakh (ex-showroom). The bike, offered in overseas markets for some time, will now be available for purchase at certain Jawa/Yezdi dealerships throughout the country.

The Gold Star features a modern classic style with a round headlight, curved fenders, and a lot of chrome. The Gold Star contains a semi-digital instrument cluster, a 12V charging connector, and a USB port. The Gold Star is powered by a 652cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that produces 45hp at 6,500rpm and 55Nm at 4,000rpm and a five-speed transmission.

The motorcycle has a telescopic fork up front and two shock absorbers in the rear. A front 320mm disc, a rear 250mm disc, and dual-channel ABS handle braking responsibilities. The Gold Star will be available in six different colours, with costs ranging from Rs 3 lakh to Rs 3.34 lakh.
