BMW 2024 R 1300 GS

BMW Motorrad has released a teaser for the upcoming R 1300 GS adventure tourer, scheduled for a global launch on September 28, 2023. The 2024 BMW R 1300 GS is set to become the flagship adventure tourer in the company’s lineup, replacing the R 1250 GS. The teaser image shared on social media offers a glimpse of what to expect from this new model.

BMW has already confirmed the name ‘R 1300 GS,’ indicating a larger engine. The teaser shows the motorcycle in action with spoked wheels and dual disc brakes.

The front end appears slimmer than the previous model, suggesting a potential reduction in size. Earlier spy shots have hinted at a new prominent beak design element under the headlight.

The upgraded engine is expected to feature liquid cooling, providing more power and torque compared to the outgoing model, which produces approximately 134 bhp and 143 Nm of peak torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox.

The motorcycle will also receive electronic enhancements, including blind-spot detection, cornering lights, radar-based cruise control, and more, positioning it as a competitor to the Ducati Multistrada V4.
