Bentley India has introduced the hybrid variant of the Flying Spur in the Indian market. Priced at ₹5.25 crore ex-showroom, this luxurious sedan is now available to Indian customers through Exclusive Motors, Bentley’s official partner in India.
Previously, the Flying Spur was offered with W12 and V8 powertrains. With the addition of a 2.9-liter V6 engine paired with an electric motor, this hybrid version delivers an impressive 536 bhp of maximum power and 750 Nm of peak torque.
Satya Bagla, Managing Director of Exclusive Motors, commented on the launch, stating, “Bentley is the world leader in luxury mobility and has defined modern luxury in the automotive world. The Flying Spur Hybrid is the brand’s first electrified sedan and the most environmentally friendly Bentley today. The vehicle offers a seamless merger between the internal combustion engine and electric motor, delivering progressive serenity regardless of the driving characteristics demanded by the driver.”
Notably, it boasts 95 bhp more power than the Bentayga Hybrid and accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph in just 4.3 seconds. What’s more, the Flying Spur Hybrid is the most fuel-efficient Bentley to date, with an estimated range of 800 km on a full tank.
As expected from Bentley, there’s an array of customization options allowing buyers to personalize their Flying Spur to their preferences. Bentley offers a palette of 60 exterior colors, including the exclusive Mulliner range, and even the possibility of a bespoke paint job. The Blackline specification is also available, featuring a dark version of the optional illuminated Bentley logo on the hood.
Inside, customers have the choice of eight different veneers for the interior. Stitching and emblems can be customized in either blind or contrasting colors. Additionally, there’s an option for contrast piping on the seat covers, inspired by the original Flying Spur from the 1950s.
The introduction of the Bentley Flying Spur Hybrid marks a step toward more eco-conscious luxury vehicles in the Indian automotive market.
