The Ferrari 12Cilindri will go on sale in India soon, with an official launch expected within the next month or two and deliveries starting in the year’s second half. However, orders have been open for some time, and official India rates have been announced. The Ferrari 12Cilindri price in India begins at Rs 8.5 crore(Est. $9,75,070) (ex-showroom, India) for the coupe and Rs 9.15 crore (Est. $10,49,635) for the open-top Spider.

Ferrari 12Cilindri: Powertrain

The Ferrari 12Cilindri, powered by a new development of the brand’s renowned naturally aspirated V12 engine, is the most recent in a long line of front-engine, two-door grand touring supercars. The 6.5-liter unit now generates 830 horsepower and drives the rear wheels via an 8-speed transaxle dual-clutch automatic transmission.

With this new model, the Italian sportscar manufacturer has managed to extend the life of its V12 engine in its purest form, without the addition of turbocharging or electrification, as has been the case with most other models in its lineup.

The Ferrari 12Cilindri will compete with the V12-powered Aston Martin Vanquish and make its India debut next month. Unlike most Ferrari models, which debut the convertible a few years after the coupe, both versions of the 12Cilindri will be offered from the start.

Ferrari 12Cilindri: What will it offer in India?

While Ferrari is well-known, if not notorious, for its extensive and pricey options catalog, in which even essential items must be requested separately, this will not be the case in India for the 12Cilinder. As with previous launches, dealers ensure the price includes a few basic choices.

While the specifics are unknown, they will likely include items that Indian buyers frequently request, such as the nose lift function, Scuderia Ferrari shields on the front fenders, and painted brake calipers. Additional interior trim customization will also be available, which should help offset the asking price.
