Design Inspired by the Evija: A Touch of Hypercar Heritage in the Lotus Emira
With its sculpted scoops, sharp headlights, and aerodynamic shape, Lotus’ hypercar Evija is a major design inspiration for the Emira. While the rear boasts C-shaped LED light clusters united by a streamlined brake light above dual exhausts, the side intakes, low overhangs, and muscular haunches contribute to its aggressive stance.

Lotus Emira: Interiors
The Emira’s interior design perfectly combines contemporary technology with essential features for the driver. Supported by a 12.3-inch digital driver display, the main feature is a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. A top-tier 10-channel KEF sound system, optional 12-way adjustable sports seats, and standard conveniences like cruise control and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) are also included in the cabin. The Emira’s interior is as functional as it is opulent, featuring physical controls for the driving and climate modes and plenty of storage space.
Engine & Performance
The Emira is equipped with two powerful engine options. The first is a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbocharged unit sourced from AMG. The second option is a Toyota-sourced 3.5-litre supercharged V6 engine. The AMG engine is available in two tunes, with the base Turbo variant producing 365hp/430Nm and the Turbo SE variant producing 406hp/480Nm. On the other hand, the V6 engine generates 406hp and 420Nm of torque. Both engines are mounted transversely and deliver power to the rear wheels. The V6 engine offers a choice between a 6-speed manual and automatic gearbox, while the AMG four-pot engine is exclusively paired with an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. The Emira boasts impressive performance credentials, with the Turbo SE model accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4 seconds and reaching a top speed of 290 km/h.
