Internally, the Valhalla remains inspired by the F1 car with low-set seating and carbon fiber-constructed seats in one physical piece. This is further enhanced by the fact that the two-seater has a much larger cockpit, which gives one an ‘Amphitheatre’ experience and provides a focused environment, according to the company. The so-called Human Machine Interface (HMI) package includes a central touch display for functions related to electric vehicles and advanced driver assistance systems. Additionally, it is integrated with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Most of the materials used in the construction of the supercar are carbon fiber, and according to the Gaydon-based manufacturer, lightweight has been given top priority. Other newly introduced technologies include LED matrix headlights with adaptability, high beam assist, and dihedral doors featuring a characteristic aerodynamic vane that channels air around the car, thus cooling the engine and the transmission by up to 50 per cent, according to the manufacturer. Somewhat influenced by the “F1 racing car” part of the brand, the roof snorkel hosts an intake of air, and there we have a duo of exhaust pipes behind it.

With new 20-inch wheels at the front and 21-inch to the rear incorporating a six-spoke design, the PHEV supercar runs on Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tyres and has an aerodynamic design with a rear end higher than the front to provide a smooth drive. The rear wing is adjustable, while the carbon-fiber diffuser with integrated ducts helps it generate more than 600 kg of downforce at 150-210mph (240-350 kmph).

Aston Martin Valhalla: Powertrain

The engine of the Valhalla is a twin-turbocharged 4.0-litre flat-plane-crank V8, three electric motors used for the front axle usage, and a starter-generator fitted in bulk 8-speed dual-clutch auto box. This makes the total power output to precisely 1,079 hp and torque of 1,110 Nm. To shed as much weight as possible, the dual-clutch gearbox has no reverse gear, and that operation is fully electric.
