Mini Countryman Electric JCW Pack

Mini India has launched the Countryman Electric at a price of Rs 62 lakh ex-showroom (about USD 75,600) with the John Cooper Works (JCW) Pack. This variant adds an athletic edge to the previously existing all-electric Countryman, which already sells in India. Mini plans to bring in only 20 units of this special edition, and bookings have already opened with a token amount of Rs 1.5 lakh (approximately USD 1,830). Deliveries are anticipated to begin after June 10, 2025.

The JCW Pack provides two eye-catching paint options: Midnight Black and Legend Grey. The Legend Grey version is also offered with some black sporty stripes for extra flair. The front nose, which comes from Miniโ€™s racing history, has a checkered motif that also goes all the way down to the bumper. Other custom touches from JCW include the side skirts, which are flag-sculpted, a custom rear spoiler, and alloy wheels that are blacked out. JCW checkered flag badges have been added to the C-pillar as well as beside the charging port to underscore the sporty elegance of the automobile.

Stepping into the JCW gives you a race-oriented steering wheel with a boost mode, special sports seats, and black upholstery decorated with bright red highlights on the dashboard. All the features in the base version of the Countryman remain unchanged, including the large OLED screen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a premium Harman Kardon sound system, wireless charging, electrically adjustable seats, a big sunroof, and ambient lighting. There are plenty of safety elements, for instance, airbags, ABS, TPMS, and a rear-view camera, along with a Level 2 ADAS suite.

Performance Remains the Same

The JCW Pack is similar to the regular Countryman Electric under the hood. The car is powered by a 204-horsepower electric motor that produces 250 Nm of torque from a 66.45 kWh battery. The engineโ€™s power goes only to the front wheels. This model is capable of reaching 100 km/h from a standing start in 8.6 seconds, and it has a maximum speed of 170 km/h.

Depending on testing, the car can drive up to 462 kilometers before it needs to be charged again. A DC fast charger (130 kW) can provide 10 to 80 percent charge within 29 minutes, which is quite fast. An 11 kW AC charger can fully charge the battery in just under 6.4 hours.
