
Honda has released the new CB1000 Hornet SP in India. This week, it is the company’s fourth big new BigWing model. The price of this litre-class streetfighter, “ex-showroom Gurugram,” is ₹12.36 lakh, which is about USD 14,800.
Honda CB1000 Hornet SP: Engine
The CB1000 Hornet SP has a 999cc liquid-cooled inline-four engine that makes 157hp at 11,000rpm and 107 Nm of torque at 9,000rpm. It comes with a 6-speed transmission and a bidirectional quick-shifter, which makes changing gears quick and easy.

High-End Suspension and Braking Setup
The front shock is a fully adjustable Showa USD fork, and the rear shock is an Öhlins mono-shock. This gives the bike better handling and comfort. There are two 310mm discs with Brembo Stylema callipers placed radially up front and a 240mm disc in the back. These provide strong and reliable stopping power.
Honda CB1000 Hornet SP: Modern Features and Rider Aids
The CB1000 Hornet SP has a 5-inch TFT screen that can link to a smartphone and show music, directions, and call alerts. It also comes with a complete safety package that includes three types of traction control and five riding modes (Sport, Standard, Rain, and two custom).
Availability and Deliveries
Honda’s BigWing Topline shops across India will be the only places to buy the CB1000 Hornet SP. Deliveries will start in June.
