Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has unveiled the Hilux Black Edition in India, a premium variant of its renowned pickup truck. Now featuring an all-black aesthetic and enhanced features, the Hilux Black Edition is priced at ₹37,90,000 ($43,600) (ex-showroom), and deliveries are set to commence in March 2025.
Hilux Black Edition: Exterior Design
The Hilux Black Edition distinguishes itself with a striking all-black exterior. Key elements such as the front radiator grille, under-run, fender garnish, fuel lid garnish, 18-inch alloy wheels with custom hub caps, outside rear-view mirror covers, and door handles are all finished in black, exuding a bold and cohesive look. The design is further accentuated by swept-back LED headlights and LED rear combination lamps, maintaining the Hilux’s signature rugged yet sophisticated appearance.

Hilux Black Edition: Interior Features
Inside, the all-black theme continues with leather upholstery that adds a touch of luxury to the cabin. The Hilux Black Edition has modern amenities, including an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, dual-zone automatic climate control, and an eight-way powered driver’s seat. Additional conveniences such as smart entry with push-button start, electrically adjustable and retractable mirrors, and a reverse parking camera enhance the overall driving experience.
Powertrain and Performance
Under the hood, the Hilux Black Edition houses a 2.8-liter four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine paired with a six-speed automatic transmission, delivering 500 Nm of torque. Its robust 4×4 drivetrain ensures exceptional off-road capabilities, complemented by a best-in-class water-wading capacity of 700mm.
