As Xiaomi sought a sales license in China, the company revealed its second car. The Xiaomi YU7 and the first pictures of the production model and essential specifications were unveiled.
Xiaomi YU7: What Do We Know So Far?
The Xiaomi YU7 is an all-electric SUV that measures 1,600 mm in height, 1,996 mm in width, and 4,999 mm in length. It weighs 2,405 kg at the curb and has a wheelbase of 3,000 mm.
With two electric motorsโa front 220 kW and a rear 288 kWโthe model can reach a high speed of 253 km/h with a combined output of 508 kW (681 hp). The capacity of the lithium NMC battery from CATL, which will store the electricity, has not yet been disclosed.

In March, Xiaomi unveiled the Xiaomi SU7, their first electric vehicle. Deliveries of the EV vehicle, which starts at 215,900 yuan (29,700 USD), surpassed 100,000 in mid-November. By the end of the year, Xiaomi hopes to deliver 130,000 SUVs, exceeding its original goal of 100,000 units.
The new YU7 SUV from Xiaomi will go on sale in June or July 2025.
