SU7 Ultra

The Chinese tech giant Xiaomi took the world by surprise with the reveal of its all-new SU7 Ultra, the track-focused sleek version of the SU7 EV. This EV Sedan is expected to smash the Nürburgring lap record for EVs. At 7 minutes and 5.55 seconds, the Porsche Taycan Turbo GT currently holds the record.

The SU7 Ultra features a pair of Xiaomi’s new ‘V8s’ electric motors, each producing 578 hp. The ‘V6s’ unit will be installed on the front. The total power output is 1,548 hp, 440 higher than the Taycan Turbo GT.

According to Xiaomi, with all the power add-ons, the SU7 can reach 100kph in 1.97 seconds and 0-300kph in 15.07 seconds, with a top speed of over 350kph. Uprated AP Racing brakes and sticky Pirelli P Zero tires provide stopping power, with a braking distance of under 25 metres from 100kph to zero.

A carbon fibre body kit is used to regulate weight and downforce. The SU7 Ultra weighs 1,900 kilograms, according to the manufacturer.
