On the first day of the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, the Auto major Tata Motors unveiled the new Avinya X concept. It must also be mentioned that this concept of the Avinya X, as a crossover, is distinct from the Avinya, which was displayed at earlier events. What turns the new Tata Avinya X concept into new is detailed in the following picture gallery of the car.

Tata Avinya X Concept: Design & Exterior

Tata Avinya X Design

The recently debuted new Avinya X concept will employ a fresh electric-only architecture: the Modular Architecture (EMA) used by its joint venture partner, British marque JLR’s Electric.

Regarding the exteriors of the Avinya X concept, the electric crossover is all-new, with a vertical grill, smooth lines on the panels, muscular wheel arches, a sloping roof that meets a steep rear window, robust rear bumper, faint body lines, and large, swept-back wheels with aerodynamic propellers.

The Avinya X concept also uses an all-new-looking Tata logo as a ‘T’ pattern on the front and rear light bars. This front bumper also conceals air curtains to enhance air chilling at the front. The future electric crossover will feature integrated door handles like the Curvv, Curvv EV, or the near production-ready Sierra ICE.

Tata Avinya X Concept: Interior

The interior of the Avinya X concept boasts a premium arrangement that distinguishes it from the Tata models currently for sale and the Harrier ICE presented at Auto Expo 2025. It is fully beige.

Notably, the dashboard features the identical light bar observed at the front and back in the ‘T’ arrangement. There’s an ultrawide driver display and a large touchscreen info display. As depicted in the image, a glass roof may be featured as a panoramic sunroof in the final model.

Tata Avinya X Concept: Powertrain

Although Tata has not disclosed any powertrain details, the EMA features an integrated propulsion system with cell-to-pack battery technology, battery management, and a charging system designed to enhance vehicle efficiency and range.

Expected Launch

The upcoming Tata Avinya X concept is expected to be revealed in its production version later this year, with a possible market introduction set for 2026.
