Skoda has teased the high-performance Elroq RS ahead of its worldwide unveiling on April 3 next year. The sportier avatar of the Elroq electric SUV will be unveiled on the brand’s YouTube channel, which can penetrate its design, interior, and performance.
Skoda Elroq RS: Design
The signature Hyper Green paint job of the RS sub-brand, previously used on the Octavia RS at the recently concluded Auto Expo, ensures the Elroq RS stands apart from its standard siblings. The SUV gets a more aggressive front bumper, blacked-out ‘SKODA’ lettering on roof rails and ORVMs, and RS badging on the front fenders. The tail lamps feature Engraving with ‘Skoda Crystal Lighting’ to provide a premium touch to its sporty persona.
Skoda Elroq RS: Interiors
Skoda has only hinted at the RS-badged sports seats and steering wheel, but based on other RS models, expect a dark headliner, aggressive seat bolstering, and sporty accents throughout the cabin. Some tech features should carry over from the standard Elroq, including a 13-inch infotainment screen, head-up display, ambient lighting, and wireless charging.
Skoda Elroq RS: Inspired by the Vision 7S Concept with 21-inch Aero Wheels
The Elroq RS features a unique aero-optimized alloy wheel design inspired by the Vision 7S concept. These 21-inch wheels adopt a color strip that matches body paint, a characteristic of other standard Elroq models abroad.

Performance and Battery Specificationย
However, Skoda hasn’t officially declared the specifications so far. Still, according to expectations, the Elroq RS could get the largest 85kWh battery pack, similar to the Enyaq RS. It has a larger 326hp rear-drive electric motor identical to its Enyaq RS sibling and has a slightly lesser 339hp all-wheel drive. The Elroq 85 claims to have a range of over 560 kilometers (WLTP), although the RS will likely come with less than that due to its performance enhancement.
Will it come to India?
Skoda India hopes to roll out its first electric vehicle by the end of September 2025, with the choices of Enyaq, Enyaq Coupe, and Elroq as the leading contenders. However, there has been no news on the Elroq RS coming to India, though the Enyaq has been seen testing on Indian roads. The decision will depend on the government’s EV policy, as no RS model has been sold in India till now. However, that would change when the all-new Octavia RS comes in complete import form.
