The India-spec new Kia Carnival has been unveiled by Kia before its October 3 release. Now in its fourth iteration worldwide, the Carnival will make its way to India through the CBU route this time.
New Kia Carnival: Exterior and Interior Design
The fourth generation Carnival received a global facelift in November of last year and is built on Kia’s most recent design language. The MPV is sharper and considerably boxier than the third-generation mode. It has the recognizable “Tiger Nose” grille up front, with vertically stacked LED headlamps with L-shaped LED DRLs on either side. The new Carnival has 18-inch alloy wheels specifically for India.

With taillamps linked by an LED light strip at the back, the L-shaped design is carried through. A silver chrome inlay joins the chrome garnish at the bottom of the rear windscreen to form the C-pillar. There are just two exterior color options for the Carnival that Kia is offering in India: Fusion Black and Glacier White Pearl. The Carnival has two dual-tone theme options inside: Tuscan and Umber and Navy and Misty Gray.
New Kia Carnival: Features
Regarding features, the Carnival boasts two 12.3-inch curved screens, a standard seating arrangement of seven people (2+2+3), a 4-spoke steering wheel, two electric sunroofs, three-zone climate control, a head-up display, a 12-speaker Bose sound system, second-row captain seats featuring heating, ventilation, and massaging capabilities, a 12-way powered driver’s seat, and much more. Moreover, it has powered folding back doors and a tailgate.
New Kia Carnival: Powertrain
The new Carnival is powered by a single, 2.2-liter, four-cylinder diesel engine that produces a peak torque of 441 Nm and 193 horsepower.
