MINI has officially launched its latest high-performance models, the John Cooper Works (JCW) and the John Cooper Works Convertible. These vehicles continue the legacy of racing legend John Cooper, delivering an exhilarating driving experience that embodies the brand’s commitment to sportiness and innovation.
Mini Cooper JCW: Interior Features
The interior of the new MINI John Cooper Works models showcases a purist design focused on performance and style. A striking red and black color scheme defines the cabin. JCW sports seats, upholstered in black synthetic leather with multicolored knitted fabric and red accent stitching, provide firm support during spirited driving. The JCW sports steering wheel, equipped with textile six-o’clock spokes and shift paddles, enhances driver control and engagement.
The cockpit features a high-resolution OLED display and the iconic toggle bar, allowing easy access to climate, media, and navigation controls. A knitted dashboard surface pays homage to the MINI’s racing heritage, while standard features include a premium Harman Kardon sound system and wireless smartphone charging. The exclusive Go-Kart mode further tailors the cockpit ambience for performance, providing real-time data on speed, torque, and g-force, enriching the emotional driving experience.

The new MINI John Cooper Works models’ exterior design is sporty and sophisticated. A large octagonal front grille in high-gloss black, adorned with the three-color JCW logo, dominates the front view. Additional air inlets with vertical reflectors in red enhance aerodynamics and engine cooling, while optional bonnet stripes accentuate the vehicle’s racing character.

Available in eleven vibrant body colors, the JCW models also offer contrasting roofs and mirror caps. The Convertible boasts an exclusive Copper Grey paint finish, and its soft top can retract in just 18 seconds at speeds up to 30 km/h, allowing for an open-air driving experience. Aerodynamically shaped rear spoilers and black rear diffusers emphasize the sporty aesthetic, complemented by exclusive 17- and 18-inch rim designs.
Mini Cooper JCW: Powertrain Performance
At the core of the new MINI John Cooper Works models is a powerful 2.0-litre four-cylinder TwinPower Turbo petrol engine, producing 170 kW (231 hp) and 380 Nm of torque. This performance powerhouse enables the JCW to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.1 seconds, while the Convertible completes the sprint in 6.4 seconds. Top speeds reach 250 km/h for the JCW and 245 km/h for the Convertible.
